All Good Pizza opens a fresh Pizza Garden, offering healthier options to Bayview-Hunters Point.  Pizza, salads and paninis are made with organic sustainable produce, and herbs grown steps away on the lot. You’ll find sourced ingredient groupings like pesto, red potato, and roasted garlic; Louisiana hot links, mixed peppers, and fennel; or thyme, grana, garlic, truffle salt, and mixed mushrooms on the brick oven pizzas. A smoker, lent from neighbors at Evergood, is onsite to smoke custom made sausages like Italian Garlic with mixed peppers and house pickled onions, and fresh squeezed lemonade or tangerine Italian Soda makes the perfect pairing. The sunny corner lot that houses it all, has picnic tables, pops of succulent colors and the thoughtful planning even includes jars of chalk and “Purple Cow” ice cream drinks for kids (young and old). Neighbors are invited to become a part of the community garden on the lot and participate in growing vegetables and herbs.

Owners and long time residents of Bayview,  Kristin Houk and Matt Trahan say, “We’re a little bit Iowa, a little bit Louisiana, and a whole lot of Bayview. Unbeknownst to many, the Bayview district of San Francisco is one of the most beautiful areas of the city. “We want to promote good food and sustainability. Everyone deserves equal access to healthy food and it’s a great spot for the community to gather, collaborate, and feel safe,” said Houk. This Do-Gooder Couple is driven by passion, which is both applaud worthy and inspiring. As the CEO and President of Namaste Direct.org, a non-profit organization empowering business development for low-income women in other countries, Kristin Houk’s passion obviously runs deep.

Did you know? Sunday is All Good Neighborhood Day. Adding even more meaning to “Local and Sustainable”, every Sunday a price fixed meal is prepared and a local chef takes control of the smoker. All meals include a smoked meat of the chef’s choice, the signature kale salad, Louisiana baked beans, garlic bread and lemonade or ice tea for $10.
