Local BVHP developers were selected to partner with Lennar to build homes on Parcel A. As part of their individual joint venture partnerships with Lennar, these community developers will be responsible for constructing approximately 30% of homes in Phase I.
The companies chosen to date as joint venture community builders are:
Lennar and the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency launched the Community Builder program to create an opportunity for local BVHP builders to participate in the redevelopment of the Shipyard.
Local companies were selected after participating in a lengthy and extensive community outreach process. All applicants were evaluated based on criteria directly from the Community Benefits Agreement.
