Doing the right things for the right reason….
The Hunters Point Shipyard is one of the most significant development projects in the recent history of San Francisco. This project is about revitalizing and maintaining a community. Along with the tremendous physical changes taking place, we aim to promote the social and economic stability of the community. To that end Lennar Urban realizes a successful development stems from a successful community thus we have a genuine commitment to philanthropy.
There are a number of community based organizations that do great work and we know that many of them desperately need support. We will attempt to support those organizations that are engaged in helping people change their lives particularly those in under-resourced communities of San Francisco.
To be considered for a charitable contributions please submit a written request describing your organization, the population(s) you serve and how the contribution will be used -letters must be written on the agency’s letterhead and signed by the executive director. Additionally all request must include a copy of your organization’s 501 c-3 IRS determination letter.
