Hunters Point Shipyard

LOCAL HIRING

Lennar is helping the Bayview-Hunters Point economy by hiring local residents and businesses to work on the revitalization of the Hunters Point Shipyard.

Contracts awarded to local contractors, including minority and women-owned businesses, are helping to create economic opportunities for residents to get good-paying jobs and to improve the skills needed to succeed now and in the future.

During the vertical development, Lennar is partnering with local community developers from the Bayview-Hunters Point area to build homes as part of its Community Builders Program. Key Community Developers include: Tabernacle/Amanco Development, BAMEC, Inc., Marinship Development Interests, and McCoy Development.
